The Innovation Forum is an accelerator for science-based ventures. It is supported by a global grassroots network of over 10,000 innovators that seeks to build bridges between industry, academia and government. We focus on the future and the evolution of today’s technologies, which range from the nascent stage to the cusp of commercial application.
Innovation is a multidisciplinary activity that is key to any country’s growth model. It brings together engineers, business professionals, economists, doctors, scientists and policy makers. The Innovation Forum exists to facilitate this multidisciplinary structure by fostering synergy between academia, industry and the public sector to accelerate the speed of technology adoption for the benefit of the wider society.

Associate Editor – Job description
The role
- Researching the local ecosystem and the internet for trending and future trending topics
- Creating new content online and also working towards a guide or report for our (potential) partners
- Communicate with marketing team to discuss social media and promotional content
- Attending internal and external events and conferences to report or summarise the activity
- Keeping up to date about the sector and the economical, innovation and political landscape
- Support the event teams with organising Innovation Forum London events
The Candidate
- Required to travel and attend our and other organisation’s events
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to perform well under pressure and keep to deadlines
- Strong research and analysis skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
Working hours, patterns and environment
- Working from home or office
- Average of 2-4 hrs a week flexibly managed by the candidate
- Hours may also be longer when off-site at conferences
- Publishing at least one main article a month
- Publishing a short report or guide in sector of interest every 6 months
- Events and conference attendance at least once a month
- Attend local general meetings once a month

Marketing Associate – Job description
The role
- Keeping up to date about the sector and the economical, innovation and political landscape
- Advertising Innovation Forum London events to a wide audience
- Managing social media content relating to Innovation Forum London
- Coordinating with the BD team and event’s coordinator for producing promotional materials
- Identifying new methods and opportunities for sales campaigns with the BD department
- Support the event teams with organising Innovation Forum London events

The role
- Keeping up to date about the sector and the economical, innovation and political landscape
- Researching the local ecosystem and the internet to identify trending topics for events
- Develop organisation strategies for the events
- Basic health and safety knowledge
- Prepare programs and documents for the events
- Source venue and speakers
- Coordinate with suppliers (e.g. catering, venues and other logistics)
- Communicate with marketing team to discuss social media and promotional content
The Candidate
