Description

On the eve of International Women’s Day 2019, Innovation Forum at King’s College London will be celebrating advances in women’s health and technology.

The women’s healthcare market is estimated to be worth $50B by 2025, with investment and regulatory approvals in this area rapidly gaining momentum. It is currently one of the biggest disruptors in healthcare.

You will hear from leading academics, industry researchers and entrepreneurs who are developing cutting-edge tools and treatments that enable women to live healthier lives and gain greater autonomy over their healthcare choices.

We will also host a panel discussion with an audience Q&A aiming to combat taboos, increase awareness and promote gender equality. We will bring together different areas of expertise to generate an inclusive discussion which outlines the current field and provides insight into future innovation landscapes.

Confirmed speakers:

  • Dr Mary Kerr – Co-founder & CEO of KaNDy Therapeutics
  • Valentina Milanova – Founder & CEO of Daye
  • Hilary Maxwell – Chair of GO Girls & Gynae-Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist
