Kjara S Pilch obtained her PhD from University College London where she studied the role of presynaptic voltage-gated calcium channels in synaptic plasticity. She is currently a Fellow at Imperial College London, focusing on healthy synaptic ageing. Kjara is passionate about the translation of scientific findings to clinical applications.
