Rinad Alhedaithy

Rinad is a PhD candidate in the Structural and Molecular Biology department at UCL. Her research is focused on developing therapeutic proteins that contain non-canonical amino acids in the chloroplast of chlamydomanas reinhardtii. Prior to this, she obtained MSc Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology from Imperial College London and BSc Molecular and Cellular Biology (with Biotechnology) from University of Glasgow.
Rinad has a great interest in the commercialisation of scientific research, and hopes her role as marketing associate will aid in bridging the gap between academia and industry.
