Konstantina Tetorou

PhD Researcher

Konstantina is a PhD candidate in Perinatal Brain Repair Group at UCL. In her project, she is working on developing new treatments for neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. Prior to her PhD, she completed her MSc in Neuroscience at UCL and her BSc in Biology at University of Patras in Greece. She is also a COVID-19 Testing Supervisor.

Konstantina has a strong interest in entrepreneurship, development, and clinical translation of biomedical research including novel therapies for disease prevention and diagnosis. She joined the Innovation Forum in March 2021 as a Marketing Associate, aiming to promote interaction between academia, industry and the public sector to accelerate the speed of technology adoption for the benefit of the wider society.
