I have studied molecular biology and have completed my PhD in Experimental Hematology in Groningen (NL). There I investigated on role played by cell cycle regulation, ageing, apoptosis, and senescence in tumorigenesis. I isolated and implemented immunophenotypic sub-fractions of hematopoietic cells from bone marrows and/or peripheral blood of aged patients with malignancies (MDS and AML) compared to healthy age-matched controls in several types of approaches, most commonly involving viral transductions and flow cytometry analyses. During my doctoral formation I supervised successfully an MSc student. Apart being passionate about science, I am also fascinated by translational and entrepreneurial science. Communication plays a pivotal role in optimizing both academic and entrepreneurial efforts. I have therefore collaborated as an advisor and grant writer with two start-ups (Respora and Net.Inn.Pot), both committed to the optimization of communication in order to boost productivity and creativity. I have joined Innovation Forum in January 2018 and set out to give a significant contribution to the growth of this group.
