Paris is doing his PhD in the field of Immuno-Oncology at King’s College London. He is developing multi-input signal sensitive chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cells for the treatment of human cancers. He is working in the field of CAR T-cell immunotherapy since 2014 when he first joined the CAR T-cell team at the University College London Cancer Institute as part of his Master’s on Cancer Research at UCL. Since then he has been involved in various academia and industry CAR projects and he is fascinated to see the potential of these living immunotherapies to be used to efficiently treat cancer patients in the future.
Paris aspires to contribute towards the expansion of the Innovation Forum across the world and he believes that building solid bridges between academia, industry and policymakers through the Innovation Forum will be vital in accelerating the application of many innovative ideas to advance human health.
